Hydrolysed wheat and rice proteins cut small enough to sit inside a worn cuticle, in a light leave-in base. Hair that has gone soft and stretchy from bleach or heat feels firmer and holds a style better after a few applications.
Protein is the ingredient class people most often overuse, and the result is hair that feels like straw. So this is deliberately a once-or-twice-a-week product, and the cautions block below is the most important part of this page rather than an afterthought.

How to use
- Two to three pumps on towel-dried hair, once or twice a week.
- Comb through the mid-lengths and ends. Leave in.
- Pair it with a moisture step in the same week — CN-03 or CN-01.
Cautions
- Not for daily use. Hair that feels stiff, brittle or straw-like has had too much protein, and the answer is to stop for two weeks, not to use more.
- Contains hydrolysed wheat protein. Avoid with a wheat allergy.
- If your hair is already dry rather than soft and stretchy, this is the wrong end of the problem — start with CN-03.
