A water-based smoothing serum built to the lowest weight we could reach and still see a difference on the cuticle. Two pumps disappear into fine hair without the third-day flatness an oil leaves behind, which is the whole reason this product exists at the bottom of the scale rather than the middle.
It smooths by lying flat on the outside of the strand, not by coating it in silicone. That means slightly less mirror-shine than a dimethicone serum and no build-up to clarify out later. Frizz on a damp day is visibly reduced; frizz in genuine humidity is reduced, not eliminated, and we would rather say so than have you find out.

How to use
- Two pumps for shoulder-length hair, three for longer.
- Emulsify between the palms first — applied straight from the pump it lands in a single line and stays there.
- Work through mid-lengths and ends. Keep it an inch off the root.
- Use on damp hair before drying, or on dry hair to settle the day.
Cautions
- Not a heat protectant. If you are using a hot tool, use ST-01 first and this after.
- Silicone-free means less shine than you may be used to. If mirror-shine is what you are buying, SR-02 is the honest recommendation.
- Patch-test on the inner forearm if you react to leave-in products.
